Since its inception in 1995, the Canine Health Foundation has allocated more than $10 million to canine health research, helping to ensure a better future for dogs and their owners. With a shared commitment to helping dogs live long, healthy lives, Purina supports many American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation programs.

The AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF) is the largest nonprofit funder of health research focused solely on dogs. Donations from individual dog lovers, dog clubs, foundations and corporations are invested in a diverse portfolio of innovative canine health research grants that aim to find better treatments, more accurate diagnoses, and an improved understanding of the mechanisms that cause disease in dogs. CHF works closely with AKC Parent Clubs, dog owners, breeders, veterinarians and researchers to identify and address health issues in dogs.

PPCPP is the Purina Parent Club Partnership Program

When you are a member of Purina® Pro Club® and you submit proofs of purchase for eligible Purina® brand pet foods, your national breed club can receive funding for breed-specific health studies that enable dogs like yours to live longer, healthier lives. The more proofs of purchase you turn in, the greater your potential earnings for your national breed club. Some clubs have already generated thousands of dollars for their breed.

To begin earning Purina Points for your breed club, log on to your account at and make sure your profile shows you are participating in PPCP. If you are not yet a member, you also can join Pro Club at that website. For information about using Donor Advised Funds at the AKC Canine Health Foundation, call 888-682-9696 or contact
