GR CH/AKC CH Debonair’s Some Kinda Wonderful (Sultan)

It is hard for me to describe what Sultan means to me. He is a product of a very careful breeding. When I bred his sire and dam I was trying to do the
impossible. I was trying to reproduce my beloved Rambo. Although that is
impossible, Sultan is very much like him and better than Rambo overall. It took this past year for me to finally admit that.

Sultan is a big dog, 18” at the shoulder,
(as was Rambo), and I was afraid at
times that his height might hurt him in the ring. It never has. Sultan has a very solid top line, excellent side gait and single tracks. He is everything and more that I could have ever dreamed of. At one show I attended, someone stated “we just don’t see that kind of rear angulation up here.” That made me so very proud. Sultan is also my best friend and totally dedicated to me. He gives me 110% whenever he steps into the ring. Over the past year he has a combination of 15 BIMBS and RBIMS to his credit. I am very grateful to all the judges who recognized his quality.

After the Premier in June, Sultan will be bred in July. Following that who knows what the future might bring. Sultan is a young dog and his show career is far from over. I hope his Grandsire (Rambo) is looking down and is as proud of Sultan as I am.
